When changing from stock oiling system to an external line system with a swinging pick up, where is the best place to plug the stock pick up port in the block. In the crankcase, where to stock pick up was unscrewed from, or in the block behind the oil pump. Any other modifications need to be done?
Thanks, Brian Dunnigan

you have the pan off to remove the pickup tube
just screw a flush mount plug into it and your done.

Thanks Wes. I was hoping that would work, because I haven't found a plug to fit the one behind the oil pump.

And if you run a dual line system you don't need to plug either or them.
