Okay so after about four years I've put the new engine in and just hooked up the powersteering a few minutes ago but theres a slight problem. When turning the wheels to the right in the garage the steering wheel seems to get 'hung up' for a second then with a little more force I am able to turn the wheel fully. It does not do this while turning left. Any ideas?

try unbolting the valve on the top of the steering box and cleaning it out.

If you do remove the valve, try to mark it so that it can be installed in the same position, and also read up on the adjustment. Do NOT scratch the position, use a marker or tape each side. If you read first, you will know why.
