Thanks for all the advice on the 4.10 or 4.30 question in my other post.

The shop I had planned on doing the install says they would be happy to do it... if I bring in the entire 3rd member... even after I explained the rear end is actually installed in the car. !!?

So, I need to locate a shop in the LA area (specifically the Pasadena or Burbank area - even SFV) who is familiar with Mopar 8 3/4 rear ends.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

Why not just drop out the center chunk from the 8.75 then and bring it into him...it's not hard

Hoopers is in Sun Valley a little behind the Pick A Part there.

You could also call Ed Sutton in City of Industry. Ed is a Mopar guy.

Ed Sutton Engineering

City of Industry, CA 91746

Next would be RamJet rear ends.

I'd go Sutton. Ed's a great personable guy. You'll probably find his own personal Mopars around the shop.

Have you contacted Blair's speed shop in Pasadena? (Phil runs the place) They don't specialize in Mopars, but the work they've done for me has been excellent.

I second this, Ed is a Mopar guy and does good work, I used Hoopers in the early eighties and they are good too but Ed is your best bet in my opinion.
