just got done washing up the 15X7's and looks like they could use a touch of paint. So cooper and BFG's are good choices, thanks guys again for the posting info.

Hey Migs -- granted, ours is not a '72, but you saw our '73 with 225's on the front and 275's on the rear -- 15x7 front, 15x8 rear. FWIW, there's plenty of room on our '73 to even go up to a 295 on the rear.

I like the T/A...this is on my 74 with 295-50-15 on the back (8 inch LRT rim) 235-70-15 on the front (7 inch LRT rim).Lots of room BTW. Do your rims have the holes for center caps? If so, black wheel, 72 rallye center cap looks good.
