Hey guys,

I glass beaded my valve covers and now I have glass bead embedded in the slime under the valve cover baffles. What do you guys do to clean under the baffles? Thanks.

You should soak and wash several times, glass beads will cake on the back side of baffles and
spot weld area folds in the steel.
You should have not used beads directly in the baffle area,If not clean throughly I don't have to tell you what happens when beads enter the engine.

Super clean and a fish tank brush. You can get them in diff sizes and lengths to get between baffle and cover.

I would consider pressure washing if you don't have a parts cleaner. Should have degreased them first.

i would probably pull out the baffle if the glassbead was directed at the baffle it may have been forced in the crack , no amount of scrubbing is going to get it out .

Hot oil will get it out, guaranteed.
