what do you guys use for primers? Is there any better than other out there? Thanks

Use the primer that is made by the paint manufacture you plan on using. Lots of different primers depending on what type of paint system and what it's being used for. The best bet is to go the the local autobody supply shop and let them help you if you aren't sure what you want.

For bare metal I use DuPonts Vari Prime. All other is Martin Senours Tech series. Best sanding primers out there.
