Is the sheet metal shield on the brake metering block factory? Anyone have a picture of the shield off the car?

The heat shield is a repo. I've never seen a real one up close. I understand that the repos are made from a oem part.

Charlie, Tell us all you can remember about this car and yours, maybe your old car will show up. This is the first time I've messed with a bodies, except to cut them up into racecars, and I have to say the big block cars are interesting and underrated to say the least. I think that because of all the unique parts and limited numbers there should be more intrest, but what do I know.

my car was orig purchased new in katy tx,i got it in 1979 for 100.00 it was my ist hot rod build so i did things wrong like fender well headers,cutting rear fender wells for tires it was orig white /black stripe,black bucket seat auto had a used car lot sell it for me off hwy 6 in 83 84 to buy a house to keep wife happy also sold my 70 road runner now cars gone house gone wife gone

Charlie, I got the car from Joe Ary, he bought it form Bud LaFevre who brought it down from Ohio. Bud bought it from the dealer he was working at in Columbus it was a trade in. I plan to hang on to this one and a '64 Sport Fury 426 4 speed I have and thats it.I'm in New Waverly which is about 15 min north of Conroe. Get the Charger going and come hang out.

there was a gts that a guy had that worked at the chry dealership on katy freeway that got burned in a fire same color as yours he was from up north ohio i think this was around 81 84 ?

I haven't done much lately on the Dart. One of the things I did was put the wheels and tires on and drive it down the street to my office the other day. It lives but still have a way to go.
