What is the best way to remove the old weather seal so it can be reused?

If your refering to the one aroud the perimeter of the door I typically break the white plastic clips then just replace the clips...Though they use to sell a pkg for $2.00 & the last time I needed a set they were $15.00

Thanks, what works best as far as breaking them clips and not wrecking the rubber?

I use a wide blade screwdriver from the side, line it up & a light sideways tap with the palm of your hand will break them off cleanly, then needle nose pliers to remove the part stuck in the weatherstrip....Get the new clips first & you'll see just how they install making removal easier...

Thanks for the help,
I used my gasket scraper between the rubber and door and gave each pin a light rap and off they came..
