Did the 75 and 76 a body's still come with the chrome exhaust tips? I notice that the 73 340 and cars have the tips , but after 74 did the 360 cars have these as well? I'm sure no 318's had them, but in 74 and 75 the 360's were the only so called perfomance engine left.

My 76 parts manual does not list any tips for the 360 A-body, I owned a 74 360 dart sport that did not have tips. Cannot confirm 74-75 as I do not have parts books for those years.

Thanks, for the info. I wasn't sure if the later a bodies with the 360 had tips or not. The one I have does have duels that came on the car and is cat. convertor exempt, but does have the evap. can and egr, and air pump brackets. I wonder then if it did have factory duels and the ended at the rear bumper and just turned down. I can't seem to find much about the mid. 70's A bodies. It appears as though all the coverage is up to 74 and that's it.

The 76 shows factory duals with no cats for the 360 engine with turn downs on the tail pipes. It would make sense that the later years with the extended rear bumper was when the tips were dropped as a option.

Thanks, that would make sense about the extended rear bumpers. Carlisle is soon approching and I'm getting my list together. I have a 75 dart sport with a factory 360 and these cars don't get much attention right now, but as time goes on I think interest will come around. I guess that free's some coins up to get other items instead of the exhaust tips.

yup 74 was the last year for chrome tips. PREDICTION: 73-76 a-bodies will be the next "must have" car
in the very near Future.

no idea...

but a 360" is an excellent performance engine. 360" is the mild 318" stroker, i always wanted....

at the yard they cost about the same.

i loved mopar..
