Since I'm on here posting anyways....

where's the switch for hazard lights on my 65 dodge dart? Did they not have them? Should I hook some up?

Not sure on a `65 but they were optional in `66 (mandatory in some states I think) My Monaco has `em but I havn`t seen too many others.

Too early in automotive history for hazard lights. Not untin 1966 (not all models).

Thanks. I did find a site just after posting that said something about 67 being the year darts got hazards. I tried to post it but it must not have gone through.

Is it hard to add them? it's just wiring in a switch, and flasher on the blinkers right? Is there a site with instructions?

My `66 switch marked "flasher" is mounted under the lower dash in line with the "speaker" and "rear air" controls and all three chrome bezels match.

It`s been a long time but I think it has a seperate harness that plugs into the signal switch wiring.

You could run a wire (with an inline 20 amp fuse) from an always on source at the fuse box to a switch then to an common turn signal flasher then to your brake line(the output side at the brake pedal switch). flip it on when you need it.
