I am planning on building a pro street 70 challenger with a shortend rear end. It Is going to be tubbed so is there a specific width that is a standard width to do this or does it very a little bit? Thanxs

It all depends on the car, the suspension, stock or backhalf frame mods, and wheel/tire set up you want to use. So no, there is no standard size.

After you do your tub and suspension work, you place the wheels and tires that you're going to use into the wheel wells. Make sure everything is mocked up at ride height. Now measure between the inside of the wheels. This is the new overall axle flange to axle flange length for the new rear end. Just send this measurement to Moser, Strange, Currie or another shop. Easy, huh?
