Looking into a 67 Belv. convertible, and wondering if it's the same deal for late B's as it is for early B's.

Doesn't really need sheetmetal as much as interior/ext. trim and such.

And what year's stuff exchanges?

Very little sheetmetal is available repoped and really nothing other than seat covers, door panels, headliner, carpet, tail light lenses and bezels is peproduced for them other than stuff that interchanged with other years. Most stuff can interchange with the '66s but has something different, but almost all mechanicals interchange with any '66 to '70.

you need to talk to jim drain, pinellas park, florida. once i get back to my office i can get his phone number. i've been to 2 of his 5 warehouses full of '66 & '67 parts. that's all he deals in. he'll be at carlisle this year. pm me and i'll get his number to you, unless someone on the board can provide his number. dave ro23

Jim and I speak almost daily, to the best of my knowledge he is no longer selling any of his parts to the general public however he will sometimes help out his friends if he has parts to spare not destined for his own projects. BTW, while it's often possible to interchange parts between 66 & 67 B-body cars, nearly all componants are somehow unique to each year and wouldn't be 100% correct if swapped. If you have a 67 you'll likely need 67 parts, many Belvedere I & Belvedere II parts will correctly interchange with the exception of roof trim, deck lid trim, and some other minor misc. items. 4 door front clips from the windshields forward are all identical within any trim level cars as compared to 2 doors.
