Ok, I have removed all my stock rally gauges and bought Auto meter ultra light gauges.

I have a stock sending unit/ new for the cuda gas tank and am wondering if the gas gauge from Auto meter will work with it and give the correct reading? I boutht these gauges long ago and guess I really didnt think things out.

Any idea what the OHM rating is for the sending unit, so I can see if it will work with this auto meter gauge???

Thanks

Dave

10 or 12 to 73 or 78.

Most gauges say they match up to a particular manufacture for that.
That is you have to buy the mopar fuel gauge.

Autometer does make several with the correct ohm rating. The Summit online cataloge has the all offerings if the one you have now isn't right.

I need a new sending unit to go with my after market Auto Meter ultra light gauge. My newer one in the cuda is old but almost unused and appears cheap. The connection at the wire is loose and wiggles and makes the reading chane. Also, when I use it, it shows full when empty and empty when full. I think I need to replace this sending unit but want to buy a nice one as this looks cheap compared to others I see on line.

Which one did you guys use and does it work correctly?

I was looking at this one here. Here is also a pic of mine and it has a cheap yellow wire, not the flat black wire, like the one in the ebay item pic.
