What compressed thickness are they and how big a bore do they have?

I used them on a 400 block bored .030 and IIRC, they measured .039 compressed and a diameter of 4.41. I had to pull the heads back off and tear down the engine due to a roller cam that walked because it ate up the teflon button and the timing gear bolts ate into the the timing cover. The engine has 10.8 to 1 static compression and they have worked fine now for over two years. These gaskets fit great and had no overhang into the bores either.
