Hammer and a dolly and or a welder and some clean metal.
Then I seem to use the PPG related items. NO BONDO brands at all. It all depends on the depth and type of use.

Pretty happy with Evercoats 'Rage gold'. Any good autobody supply will have it. Also try to get the green plastic spreaders, they're a little 'stiffer' and in my opinion better.

hope that helps

Rage is good stuff.

Bondo being used in this case as a generic term, much like Kleenex, I expect.

So what's a good PPG body filler?

back in my auto-body course in college, we used a filler called 'Dyna-lite' "with space-age micro spheres" it must have been the high tech of the time! this was 1989...

I used some bondo brand filler on my brother's rampage. Seems to work fine.

Agreed on the Rage Gold,I use it on any motorcycle sheet metal requiring filler at my shop.Shapes and sands easily with 80 grit(shape as much as you can before it dries!).Few if any pinholes to glaze, shrinkage seems to be minimum.Make sure you use a good catalyzed primer over the filer.I use House of Kolor or PPG primers to be used with their respective topcoats. There are many good primers out there, but I like to use the same product brand start to finish.Using one manufacturers product(prime to paint)will greatly reduce any problems due to any incompatible chemical makeup.-Ron

I've used All Metal with good results and also
Por-15 makes some really, really good fillers.
they cost a pretty penny but are worth it.

I've used Marson Platinum for the last 6-7 years with very good results. Rage Gold is another excellent filler. I only stopped using Rage because if it sat unused in the can for very long, the resin would seperate (rise) from the filler itself. In hot enviroments this would cause a dark crust-like material to form on the top edge. I don't want junk mixing in with my filler, so I quit using it.

I hate to pile on here but.......I wouldn't use anything BUT Rage Gold. Excellent adherence and super easy to sand and shape
