I have a 94 Caravan that the wipers decided to quick working on the second pass today. They stopped in the full up position. I thought maybe the fuse was blown but when I got home, I can hear and feel the motor running. Does anyone have diagrams of the wiper system and what might have broke to keep the wipers from working?

Thanks Rocky, that is what I was thinking. I will dive into it this weekend. Wish I had a diagram on how things are in the wiper system.

The trans and linkage are straight forward.Motor has an arm bolted to it and it hooks to the linkage for the trans.I believe they use the plastic bushings to attach the linkage together. Some times if they pop off you can just buy the plastic part.Other times you have to buy the arms.Rocky

There was a recall on some of those, the arm breaks off the back of the pivot. If you PM me your VIN # I can check it for an outstanding recall if you want.

Thanks 10SEC440 a PM has been sent. Rocky you nailed that one. The wiper rod was just laying in bottom and not attached to the motor. Now I have to see if I can get the plastic piece that holds the arm onto to the motor pivot, if it was not one of the ones recalled.

Thanks again everyone.

Thanks everyone. I went to NAPA and they had the bushing right next to them behind the counter on the wall. Comes in a pack of two and there are three to replace. Go figure. Anyways thanks for the help.

Thanks 10sec440. I am kind of glad there wasn't a recall. If there was a recall, I would have to work the local dealer and that is never any fun.
