For the price of turning down the 360 crank you will
come close to a cheap 340 aftermarket one... waste
of money... JMO

Is your 360 crank aftermarket or factory. If factory...its not forged.

I have a factory 360 crank that I thought about having the mains turned. One local shop thought it would be around $200 to turn them down. Since it was a cast crank, it didn't seem worth it when you can get one already for around $300, even the 4" stroke ones. A forged unit would be a different case, but it might be worth selling it and getting a Callies or equivalent with the 340 mains. Maybe there is someone out there that wants a forged 360 crank?
