Give me a minute as I type slow. One possibility is you installed the battery backwards (sounds silly but people do it).
Another is the alternator.

Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first.
Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Sounds like a high amperage fault (short circuit) . . . . might want to check the ammeter connections - the one on the dash . . . could be they may have worked loose and are touching ground ??? As was mentioned before, possibly the alternator as well . . . Just my Mark
