I'm currently cleaning up my shop and I found this trans. It was formerly attached to a 361 engine which was removed from a '61 Chrysler. I was wondering if there was any interest in this trans. or would I be better off scraping it?
Thanks in advance!!

You should hang onto cable shift big blocks 727's
they are starting to get to be hard to find

cores are worth around $100-$125

Was the 61 tranny an A727 (alumnium case) or the cast iron case torqueflite? I know the 60's were the cast iron case torqueflite. In fact I have one of them behind an old RB383 in a parts Saratoga.

Every electronic device is manufactured with smoke stored deep inside... only a true genius can find a way to set it free. The most terrifying words in the English language are: "I'm from the government and I am here to help!"

Thanks guys,
I won't be using the trans. but I decided to keep it. When I had the 361 engine it took almost 2 years to sell it and I was worried that it would be difficult to unload this trans. as I don't have a use for it.
