I think its called "prior owner neglect"

At the time I saw no reason to pull the motor out of the Duster as it ran well and I had nothing ready to go I threw some MMO in to fix the sometimes noisy lifters.

2 years later the car is still going strong and the motor is quiet. If I didn't have a 5.2 magnum almost ready to go it would be in there a few more seasons.

Like someone else posted, if so why hasn't my oil level gone down?

Your theory has run into my reality.

The stuff works for its intended use (in my case some sticky lifters) I have no feedback on zinc content.
