Any one know of a source or suitable substitute for the part labled "tee" in the service manual? It is at the end of the main brake line coming from the front of the car and splits the line to each rear brake. It is mounted on top of the axle housing (on my car anyway) This part is labled "5-58-1" on the diagram and is called out as part # 1118161 in the parts listing. Thanks Darius

I have one but it needs to be replaced I think. it is leaking. I actually thought my rear end was leaking and I checked the fluid in there, it was fine and for some reason never thought about something else that could be leaking in that area. I was not able at that time to get into a position to see on top of the axle. My brake pedal went mush on me so I started looking at the wheel areas to see if there was leakage and I got into a position where I noticed the fitting on top of the axle and realized it was brake fluid dripping off the pumpkin. I figured I would probably need a new fitting and could not find one at any of the usual parts places, hence the post. Thanks for y'alls input.

Have you tried tightening the lines yet. Normally the T doesn't need replacement. It's just a solid threaded block.

your sources are USED .... that i have ever seen
unless you buy the one pictured above. Theyre all pretty much the same for the same rear housing. I put a late B one-piece unit on my 65, no issues. In my book its one less place to have a leak
