I smell gas in my Intrepid when the AC is turned on.I'm not sure where this is coming from.Could it be a bad fuel regulator or a leak in the AC system? The system needs to be charged because it only blows warm air.Has anyone had this problem?I'm really concerned about this gas smell. Thanks for any info.

I had a similar problem on a Neon. It turned out there was a tiny pinhole in the plastic fuel line feeding the fuel rail. Some fuel smell would get into the AC air intake. The leak was so small, the fuel would quickly evaporate so it was hard to locate. I found it by careful inspection of the system with the engine running and fuel system pressurized.

They had a TSB on the fuel rails leaking.I believe there was a recall on some.Might want to call dealer and check if yours was.Rocky
