Can someone please send the latest new and improved alignment specifications for a 70 Challenger with new MOOG offset upper control bushings?
I replaced every bushing and tie rod end / ball joint. It is a cruiser not a racer. 440 auto and I added disc brakes up front.

Camber-> 0* plus or minus .5*
Caster-> 2.5* plus or minus .5*
Toe-> 1/16"th in on each side for a total of 1/8" in

Bills right on.Just hope you can get that much positive caster.My 65 even with the offsets I could get maybe .5 caster.Its manual steering and handles ok with that setting.If it wasnt such a rust bucket Id have bought adjustable uppers.Rocky

I will respectfully disagree:

Camber: 0 to -0.5 preferably -0.5
Caster: + at maximum amount achievable with both being equal not to exceed 6 degrees .

Toe in 0.125"

Check tire inflation
set ride height
square rear if needed
set caster at max amount-rotate the rear eccentrics all the way in and set caster to highest equal positive number achievable.

Dial the camber in with the front eccentric-there may have to be some back and forth between the front and rear eccentrics to get the numbers to fall in. Rotating the eccentric "in" is the "negative" direction.

This is what makes a good front end guy vs someone who follows the bouncing ball on the alignment machine.

I appreciate the responses, This was discussed in a thread over a year (or two) ago, so the search does not bring it up. The only conflicting info is with the caster. Is there a reason, e-body vs b or a-body or just preferrance?
Sorry to sound ignorant, this and bodywork are my weak points.

Just make sure when you install the offset bushing the open hole in the front bushing is close to the engine as possible while the rear hole is as close to the wheel as possible

These cars were mostly speced for neg caster from the factory so getting any positive caster is a challenge. Doesn't matter which body style it is.

6 degrees positve caster is great for the high speed stability of a drag car but just not needed for a street application.

Camber is a tire wearing angle so if a sacrifice must be made keep camber in spec while mainting equal caster right to left with in at most a 1/2 degree.
