they like that air on the backside of them, best to put it a cool area in the engine bay.

I put an MSD6 box in the cab of my truck. With a 440, long tube headers, and almost no muffler I can still hear that stupid thing squealing away. I'll never put another in the cab.

x2. Horn and washer bottle hides it pretty good. Can't see it at all when looking from the front.

On my battery tray with the battery in the trunk. I fabricated a bracket that mounts the MSD and injection control computer on a repop tray. There is a cooling opening for the battery that helps keep it all cool when rolling.

I always use MSD 6al's so I have a rev limiter and I always mount them on the underside of the battery tray!

I was thinking about putting a MSD 6AL in the trunk behind the spare. Maybe make up a separate harness for the MSD, fuel pump, and speakers and run it down the rh side of the car?

Well I mounted it. I HATE messy, hacked, criss crossed wiring everywhere so I try to keep everything as neat as possible.

I mounted it on the firewall right under the voltage regulator so that its kind of hidden by the air cleaner and blends in with the other wiring stuff, and a GTX air cleaner would hide it even better. Most importantly I only need 6 inches of wire to tie it into the ballast resistor and I can run it with the rest of the wiring harness to the distributor and coil.

Thanks for the input guys.
