Hello, Was just looking at (I think) a stock 440-6 motor and was wondering where the fuel filter is?
I know there is the sock in the fuel sending unit pickup in the tank. Is the external fuel filter inside that Vapor Separator unit near the fuel pump? If so, how can you easily (or cheaply) change the fuel filter? Do folks add another in-line unit near the carb generally?
Thanks for your input.

It's been about a thousand years since I had my 6 pack, but aren't there the little cartridges in the carb inlets?

Each carb has a sintered brass filter, spring loaded, at the fuel inlet. Still sold today.

How often should these filters be changed? Same as regular fuel filters?
Does anyone have link to see or buy this filter? And about what do they generally run cost-wise?
Thanks a lot!
