my spring are angle in the wrong way how do i go about getting it in the right place while im setting the pinion angle????im lowering the car with the new mounts and cutting the perchs off to replace with new 1's to adjust the pinion angle and i see that the rear shackel is pointing in the wrong way to the front not the rear...i dont want to move the rear back then have to get a new driveshaft could i just make spacers or do someone sell long rear mounts????i checked mancini and firm feel and a few other places and came up with nothing....

I had the same problem. I was told I probably had too short leaf springs. Since I paid good $ for 6 leaf 'xhd' springs off ebay last year, I decided to keep them and extend my rear hangers foreward. Another strategy is to shim them if you only need a little bit more angle. You can also shim the front hangers but then you're lengthening the wheelbase.

I got a used set of hangers, cut them and welded in some plate, moving the rear shackle upper pivot foreward a few inches. The new longer hangers are gonna touch the trunk floor to avoid getting too much leverage on the two bolts that hold them on (72 demon). I have to shave the tops outboard sides because the trunk floor is bead rolled (probably stamped but you know what I mean) right in that spot.

Anyway,
Good luck

How bad is the angle from the spring to the hanger? Is it like this / looking from the drivers side at the rear of the leaf spring with the top being behind the spring eye or like this with \ with the spring eye behind the top of the upper shackle? if like the first one you need to fix it, if so can you have someone make another set of upper shackles and extend the front of it two or three inches and redrill the bolt hole so the shackle is pointed forward at a 45 or more degrees ?This picture is of my Dart with the springs move in, you want a angle similar to this so it will lift the rear of the car under acceleration and push the tire into the ground

hay cab it is just about inline up and down with little to no angle...i thought about makeing some myself but thought that someone made something to fix this...i am going to check around to see if some one can stamp me something out and i drill the holes myself.. but may just end up welding up something....i dont want to move everything into the frame i think i have enough tire for what i want to do...thanks

Yeah your gonna have to move the upper hole(in the
frame)... its simple.. get the angle correct, mark
the location , drill the hole and weld in a tube in
the frame rail.... wont take you all that long
