Does anyone repro a correct concaved version of the outside door handle for a 70 Challenger? We have a correct one on the pass. side but the driver side has the incorrect superceded number that is flat and does not follow the curvature of the door.

Thanks,

Brian

Yes, they are being made with the correct concave for the Challenger and are pretty nice. I bought mine from Josh Muscle Car parts but I heard he was no longer in business. You should try Dale's Cuda Shop or check with board members Nick (Nick's Classic Parts) and Dante (Dante's Mopar Parts).

You should be able to find them. Joe

Got mine from Josh's too, and they look nice!

I agree they are very nice. I bought mine at Carlisle last year, I believe from Dale's. One thing to keep in mind though is they are just slightly smaller overall than the originals, at least the pair I bought. When I put them on my original faded paint Challenger, I could see the fresher looking, un-faded paint around the outside edges which was covered by the original handles, ~1-2mm worth.

This would not be a big deal if the car is restored or fresh paint, you wouldn't even notice. On my car though it was very obvious. Since I will be repainting the car anyway, it didn't bother me, but just FYI for everyone else.

Joe
