Does anyone know what size rims to get with what backspacing to make 275/60-15 tires fit on the rear of a 73 Roadrunner

Basically any 15" rim ever made will fit a 275/60 behind a 73 plymouth B body. I run 275/60/15 on mine with a 15x7 rim with 4.25" backspacing and there is a mountain of room on each side. These cars have a ton of room in the rear wheel wells. Later this year I want to go to a 15x10 rim, custom backspacing and a 28x12R15 tire(biggest I can squeeze with stock leaf spring location) or 325/50 tire if I want to do a leaf spring relocation.

Actually, I would think you would need at least 4 1/2 in of backspacing to get them to fit. I have them on my 74 on some old school slots that only have about 3 1/2 backspace, and I had to get some shackles to keep the quarter lips off the tire....

Yep, I had problems with 8 1/2" AR Torque Trust wheels and 245s rubbing the quarters. The wheels have as well 3.5" bs

How about 295s on 15x10 with 4" back spacing?

You must be a lowrider in the back compared to mine then. Mine's lifted high enough in the back that the 275/60's are entirely below the wheel well lip. But even if it wasn't lifted in the back, it would not have been a problem with my backspacing.

15x8 with 4" of BS here...275-60x15. No fitment problems whatsoever -- can easily go another couple of sizes if we want to.
