After that the chance of any metal in the oil is very slight unless there is a problem that showed itself in the first two oil changes. Sheldon

68red440 enthusiast 6 Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 329 Cincinnati, OH	After break-in and cool down, I like to drive it about 20 miles while varying the load on the engine, and occasionally engine braking (high vacuum) to pull oil on the cylinders to wash them down. Then I change the oil and filter, and cut open the old filter.
