From Canton. i dont need an aluminum one, but I hate oil leaks, and the O rings design seems great. Any one on here running one on a stock mopar small block? How was the fit?

Cool! Never even knew they made one. My OEM plate, which is new, leaks a little - right on the header of course. Does the filter sit any farther out than with the stock plate?

I have it on a Magnum (R3) block.

Fits good.

Has not run yet so I cannot tell you if it leaks

honestly your build is where I found them. I wasnt happy with my new steel one, it was warped all over, and I hate leaks. I figured an aluminum piece with an O ring should seal pretty damn good.

For the most part a waste of money.

i've never had a problem sealing them up. i usually just coat the paper gasket with some copper tack or some form a gasket.

No.
A waste of money would be ordering one , then digging into the water jacket while relieving the mis-matched drill bit paths in the bottom of the filter inlet bore.
I also have the 5.00 threaded fitting that Canton doesn't supply.
Anyone need them ?
I have the block repaired thanks to Ryan J. and have converted to a remote filter , so this stuff will be a 50.00 paper weight unless I can sell or swap them.
