Pretty poor picture but gives you an idea of the roller alignment with the valve stem. Plenty of clearance to the retainer to the rocker arm as well

One more of the gear drive cover modified for adjusting end play on the camshaft

Nice looking wedge! I bet that thing will flat get it when it's done.

On a side note, the nephew of the owner of Donovan Engineering is a freind of mine, and he's here in Afghanistan with me. His dad owns Eric Donovan Race Cars in Virginia, and his uncle owns Donovan Engineering in California.

This is his dad's 65 GTO.

Very nice GTO ! I am looking forward to finishing this mill and getting it on the dyno in 6 weeks or so. Headers still need to be built. Motor may be a handfull in my backhalfed Duster it is a pretty big jump from my 493 with SR heads.
