12 volt power source thru trans brake button to one side of the solenoid and the other wire on the solenoid to ground is how I wire mine.

I would consider wiring it thru an on/off toggle switch before your button. Turn on the power when on the track. Dont want it hot all the time.

on my brake the solinoid is grouned inside on the valve body and the little fitting with the nut get the hot wire coming from your button

I would run the wire from the ARC panel to a relay and to ground. then have your 12V into the relay and out to the tbrake solenoid. The ARC button would then energize the solenoid and allow 12V to the tbrake button.

ARC button turns the tbrake on/off, tbrake button activates it.

Look at that nut most likely that is where you hook
the hot lead, the case of the solenoid should be grounded
to the trans.... that nut should be isolated from the
case
