Dorman makes nylon tubing that is supposed to be stock in new mustangs.
Since I am switching my coronet to efi, and needed a new fuel line and return, this seemed like a good way to go.

I bought the 5/16th size tubing.

But I realized, I have no idea how to hook this into the regular fuel line setup. It has no give like rubber, plus I don't really want to hose clamp the stuff.

I have to get it to 3/8's barb fitting, 5/16 barb fitting on this pump.

Then run it up front to a this filter

then to this fuel regulator with an -10 fittings, which feets found the adapter to get it down to a 3/8's npt fitting for the fuel filter and the outlet

Plus from the an-6 return on the regulator to the 5/16 or whatever size pipe we put into the sending unit.

Any ideas?

It's a form of Nylon and quite common in late model vehicles with high pressure EFI systems.

I just don't know if I can use Home Depot type compression fittings or if it requires something special.

I'll have to look for a non-kanookian source.

Thanks. Found a US supplier and ordered a few. I think that was the last piece I needed to figure it out.

Actually Dorman makes a kit to press the line on the fittings. They are pricey about 150 bucks.Id be worried about the compression fitting cuttin into the plastic.Ive repaired probally hundreds of those plastic lines at work. The old way was to buy the OE type connector and the line and heat the line with boiling water and work it on.That waqs the fix till the kits came out.Rocky

saw that kit. It lists for 299 or something like that, but I don't need a repair kit, since it comes with way too much stuff.
It looks like all the parts are going to run me around 80 bucks anyway.
Might have been better off buying braided hose, but oh well.
