The stock LA fuel pump is not keeping up with my 360 above 4000 rpm or so at WOT. I have purchased a Carter 6 psi "street" mechanical fuel pump as a replacement. Will my AVS be okay with 6 psi, or am I going to need to plan on pressure regulation??

Should be fine. My old '70 manual shows as high as 7-8 1/2 lbs for hemi pumps

6 psi will work fine. Make sure the pick up filter in the tank is not clogged.

Cool, one less thing to worry about. I had not considered the tank issue, and I have not been in there yet, so if the pump doesn't fix it, that may be something to consider.

I would suggest hooking up a T & a gauge & see what psi you DO have with the stock pump after you hit 4000 rpm & yes check the sock.
