I had a set of super stock springs on my 66 coronet. I took them off when I put caltracs on the car.I had to use the rear spring front hanger bracket sets on the coronet. My question is--- Will the ss springs work on my '63 B Body and will I have to use the hangers??? The springs are for a 3400lb. car.

Measure the front section of your '63 springs - centering pin to front spring eye - and if it's 20", you can use the '63s brackets. SS springs use a 20" front section.

From what I have been told the A-body SS springs will bolt right on to the 63 B-body's. Not sure if you can use the springs you have. Ron

Yep, '62 & '63 use 20" front segement springs. You can use the original spring hanger and they'll bolt in.

I tried using later '70 B-body leaf springs in my '63 when I swapped out the 8 3/4 housing years ago and the '70 springs were wayyy too long.
