Other than flipping this dual feed line over and using 42 feet of rubber line to get the firewall, or spending $3,000 bucks on AN fittings, has any one crafted up an alternative solution to this dilemma?

Do you have a spacer under the carb?

I flipped the feed line over and hardlined from the pump back along the frame rail, up the firewall and just used a short (4") section of fuel line to connect.

Yes, I have a spacer - but it's only like a 1/2-inch one.

Yeah - that's sounding like a good idea - I just hate to bend it up and make it look "rigged". I s'pose I'll go buy some tubing and exercise my engineering personality. Thanks for the inputs.

That's the exact fuel line set-up I have on my 383 w/dual feed Holley. It works perfectly. I can recommend with high confidence that product is a great solution.

i copied the idea for the bracket to relocate the coil from a magazine add. just some 1/8 steel plate.

Here is one I did for our old 64. It bends up to go over the vac advance, then over to the passenger side so it can drop down next to the alt to the fuel pump. Just get a coat hanger to rough it in and then bend up the line.

I went under the vac advance. I don't have any pictures of it all together but it seems to work well.

The stock factory routing of the solid fuel line from the fuel filter to the carb is one of the most toturous bent pieces I have ever seen! I have tried to duplicate it many times and there is just ain't no way....
I have yet to see anybody repop those.

I got my stock style from inline tube. It fit pretty good right out of the box. A couple of little tweaks and it's allmost as good as NOS. Not bad considering i'm useing an Eddy carb not a carter. The inlet is close but not exactly the same as the carter..

I happen to run a carb spacer but got creative with the dual feed. Hard line up from the pump, bends to the center, through a regulator, and then curves up and around the coil before entering the feed at a right angle.
