Just a couple of pictures to wet the appetite for the car's new stance. Will probably lower the rear another 1/2" or so with batteries, fuel, tubs and everything else back in place.

Looks killer Bro, but those long wheelie bars belong on a 7 second ride.

Tubs are at the anodizer....will be finished tomorrow. Need to do some paint work to get ready for them though.

You are right....first the chassis, then the power.

No....just almost as cheap as paint plus keeping them light in color will make it easier to see under the car. If you want to see trick & fancy, you should see the tub liners.

Looks great! If you want to stop the "out dings" use roll on bed liner on the under side

Well Bill, We will see what happens. I really want to run this true 10.5 class here in Texas. They are running 4.90 to 5.0's, which translates to about 7.90's 1/4 mile. This is another reason I want to update the cage to 25.5. It was suppose to be done on this trip to the chassis shop, but ran out of time.

It needs a wing though if your going to run 7s you can have my deck lid and wing if you like it's just collecting dust .

Looking good I like the stance, too. Seems to sit pretty level from the pics. You have probably mentioned before but I can not remember, what are you planning on for the power plant?

Pretty ho-hum color ... what are ya - Amish or sumthin' ?!?!?

Ho-hum or unsuspecting? I perfer to think of it as unsuspecting, plus I can't miss it in the staging lanes.

BTW, that is the original medium copper metallic. Darkens up some under the sunlight.

I doubt many people will notice the color as it will probably disappear pretty quickly in front of them. Car looks awesome Brian! Very nice.

That car is gorgeous, one of the cleanest, neatest I've seen. I said this before, but if you get a chance look it over, very well done .

Here it is at the 06 Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green KY.

Thanks for posting that pic Justin. Seems like a long time ago. That was when it had a really mild mannered 720hp W5 engine in it.

Ya got to try harder than that if you are trying to get a rise...

Thanks for the complements everyone. Kudos goes to Brink Racecraft, John Holt Race Cars and Crosslink Powdercoating for helping get things done the way I wanted them.

More pics of the build are in my "build" thread. I will post more pictures when I get it stuck back together with a little paint on it.
