This may be a reason for me to stop by!!! I don't think I'm too far from you now.

If I remember right, I think you might have given me a hand on my Challenger torsion bars awhile back?

A little update on the RR-GTX,

I am planning to bring both of my Sunroof 72s. Lately I've been spending time with the GTX. Despite it's horrendous appearance that car runs and drives just like a 40,000 mile car should. I can't believe how nice it is actually. I replaced the orig exhaust system with a new Accurate system. I think it is a bit louder than it should be but the fit was good. I've spent some time with the carb and it runs like it is fuel injected. Really runs nice. It was blowing a bit of smoke so I replaced the valve seals only a few were broken and the rest were still plyable. They all got replaced anyway. The car had no dignity at all with the Keystone/snow tire combo. I mounted up some new polyglas G-60 15s on a set of 070 wheels.

I'd like to try to make the car turn blue before Carlisle. We'll see I guess. The car is very straight from the doors forward with only some light dings in the top of the fenders. I bought a nos 1/4 panel for the left side from the "Star Wars accident". It has a replacement 1/4 on it but I don't like how they seamed it or welded it on for that matter. I'll cut that one off and use it to repair one of my other 71-2s. That would be the biggest part of the body work the rest of the car really is good. Shame I couldn't have found it in its original paint. It is torture because where there was some B5 poking through I ran the buffer over it just messing around. Oh well.

Some mechanical things I have to get through yet, the steering box worm shaft seal, the shift selector seal on the trans and the lower control arm bushings.

I'll get some more pics up when it starts to really look different.

Tom, time to start stacking VERTICALLY!!!!!!!!!

I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave
