I know, I am looking at it in reguards to time also. I could have a set of heads swapped and be up and running without a big delay. With my job I am not home several nights a week, and when I am home I put all my time and attention towards my wife and two year old son. I know he won't be little and cute forever so I dont mind setting aside my hobbies now. We do go out for drives as a family( his car seat fits that big seat just fine) and do the cruise nights, ice cream gig.

Why not just keep what you have and put a Pro-Charger on it. Put on thicker head gaskets to lower the compression. Could make an easy 900-1000hp on pump gas. Then when you feel the need to go faster it's just a pulley change.
You could shift at 5,500 and still make 800hp.
