Looking to gain some low end power from my 4x4.Whaich alum. intakes work best on a stock 318 with headers?Looking for the ones with small 318 size ports unless something else would work better.

SP-2P; standard "performer" I think Weiand has one as well. alot of 318 guys like the Eddy LD-4B

Streetmaster 318 is a single plane w a very small plenum and 318 ports. SB street dominator is single plane intake also w 318 ports. I'd suggest a dual plane for your app

the holley street dominator is a killer intake for a SB 318

single plane,low rise.small port intake just for a teen,be surprized how well it works on one being a open plenum

the edelbrock LD4B is another killer intake for a teen

duel plane,high rise,small ports and is a big boost to performance

I run that one with a 600cfm and voodoo roller cam,headers in a 85 stepside

big bump over a stock 4-v

a stock 360 intake will work with good results but does have the large ports...done it many times on a 318

i run a lot of 318 with the 360 heads also with a stock 4-v intake and q-jet carbs

IMHO..best bang for the buck..LD4B hands down

then the holley street dominator

Offenhauser made ALOT of 273-318 intakes. Take a look at the summit racing website- Im sure they can still get brand new Offy items.
