Looks great! We have that same hoist at my work, that thiing is bad azz, it will lift anything.

Oh yeah, we have 2 of them, and they are great for body work.

Got a lot of the body done tonite. Rubbed and rubbed till I was blue, well pink, yeah pink. lots of pink.

Its crazy how bumpy the clear was. I rubbed it out with 320, then 600. Came out smooth on everything so far.

Im glad that the previous guy, my buddy Phil Green, put the clear on heavy, I have only cut through a few times, and not once on the roof.

Had a pinhole of rust to repaire on the drivers door, but it wasnt too bad.

I need to get some stainless steel shear droppings to make some rubber guards for the quarters.

Last one for the nite. Man Im getting excited...

So what ya guys think, Im going flat black striping, flat black hood treatment, and white with black inserts on the seats with white door pannels, and black paint on the doors, and the headlinner.

the pink/flat black will look good. are you going to leave the bumpers pink or chrome them? Sioux plating did mine they do nice work. either way looks good. congrats on the new paint/engine. bet you cant wait.

I went through a LOT of work making the bumpers flush, and pink, so they are staying.

Well i got the deck lid, the tail light pannel, behind the bumper, the pass quarter, and the pass door done tonite. Man a scrawney ass like me could never do this for a living, my lil arms are numb.

There was some nasties behind the bumper, I wire wheeled the crap out of them, then d-aed them, and primed with bare metal etching primer.

The door is coming out great, the passenger side had some runs in the clear from bumper to bumper. Those were tough to get out.

You can see in y sig pix the runs in the quarter, and on the door. I got the lines to come in pretty good for a rooky..

Did some more work on the demon today. Nothing too crazy just blocked some pannels, replaced some door hinges, adjusted the drivers door, and drivers fender.

Not too exciting, just more dust.

Well the -.050 keepers did the trick. I got the heads clicked on tonite, Got one set of rockers cleaned and installed, the geometry looks really good so far. Tomarrow nite Im going to check push rod length, and figure out my intake situation. I mocked up the top end and I am going to have to get some intake spacers for those heads. I might have a hood clearance problem too. Well see, The thing looks bad ass though.

Wide valve covers just have a cool look to them...

Im going to mock up the headers tomarrow also. Im hopeing I dont have any suspention clearance issues since the heads are 1/8" raised.

Looking great! I hope to see your car sometime since we only live about 60 miles apart. I'm sure I will eventually.

Well I got my push rods measured today. I have the -.050 keepers installed, and Im still barely hitting on a few, I mean the edge of the spring is marking the anodised coating on the rocker arms. Its so slight I dont know what to do now. Shim the rockers up, or what. Will shimming up the rockers mess up my geometry? pluss if I send off my push rod checking tool inn to get mine ordered they are going to have to insrease the length as mush as I shim the rockers up. Either way I need some advise.
