The front brakes are froze up the engine has no compression on two cylinders and not much on the others (the ole thumb gauge check) other than that its in decent shape. What would it take to put a stocker 440 (906s and pistons way down in the hole)in it? I do have a real good one just laying around looking for a home. What front end and will the 440 fit? I have a couple junker b-bodies 68-69 for a front end I know the rear will, will that work?

im sure a 440 will fit,, ive seen 440s in smaller engine bays then what you have,,the B body rear end will be an easy swap,,,you can buy all the front end parts to rebuild that one,,and you can get dropped up rights to lower the front end from fat man,,, fat man has a rack and pinion kit for the car i believe also,,,or find a volare/mirada/ type front end or a dakota front stub,,,but the factory stuff rebuilt with disc brakes is easy and works well,,,lets see soem pics,,

Looks to me like a 50 Plymouth club coupe with a 49 Plymouth grille and front bumper.

There were only two models of the 1950 Plymouth club coupe: Deluxe and Special Deluxe. I think yours is a Special Deluxe based on the shiny trim around the windshield and rear window. Mechanically they were the same. Special Deluxe interiors were a bit snazzier, but since yours isn't original, I can't tell there.

there is a mopar site, friendly to these cars,,lots of old timers,,and some younger guys,,it was mainly for the 1946,47,48 ply/dodge..but it sorta expanded to late 1930,s to mid 1950,s mostly stock/restored,and now some rodders making there way to the site,,search the P-15 D-24 plymouths and dodges had numbers before they had body style names,,my 1940 dodge is a D 14 your plymouth would be a P ??

Except for the short-wheelbase P19 DeLuxe (offered only as a fastback 2dr sedan, single-seat business coupe, or 2dr wagon), all 1950 Plymouths were P20's.
