I pulled the speedometer cable from the rear of my cluster so I could pull the cluster and fix some dead bulbs. That went well and all works, except now the speedometer goes crazy and all over the place! I re-pulled the cable a few times thinking it wasn't set correctly, but nothing helps. It was working fine before I pulled the cluster.

Pull the core from the cable. Wipe it clean and lube it with vasoline, graphite, or a light grease.
