I was given a box of wiring here about two years ago. It is from a guy who installs electrical CB's, stereo's etc.

In the box is a few long pieces of 2 guage wire. It is the type of stuff you would use with a stereo or something.

It is fine strand, and has the "see-through" red coating.

Is that stuff safe to use as a battery primary cable?

If not, I'm going to recycle it.

Thank you, ROB

That's the good stuff. Electrons flow on the skin of the wire, so fine strand is good.
