Hey guys, we switched my dads car to e-85 this year. We are sure we need some monitering and found a great deal on a new LM-1 with the lma-2 rpm kit

Who else runs this, or ran this and what do you guys think?

I know that there are no hardware differences between them, just what conversion you use. my understanding is that it reads in lambada, and we tell it what to convert to. I think, but I not certain that we can simply use lambada, and not use a conversion if we want

I've got a LC-1 with an in-dash gauge and I love it, and when I finally setup my efi system it will do the datalogging for me. But definitely a valuable tool that I wouldn't want to do without. There's a chart out there showing the different a/f's for stoic for a bunch of the fuel types, don't know about for best WOT power though.

Well I hope it works cause I just bought it from the guy. I think $200 for the lm1 and the lma-2 rpm kit all brand new is a pretty good deal...I hope some others chime in with tips and tricks for the unit

I bought a LM-2 the other week and am wishing I would have bought the LM-1 now.

The LM-1 is a good unit but the LM-2 is riddled with problems I am finding out.

You can convert Lambda to A/F in the software. Or you can use lambda. The conversion to A/F from Lambda is.
Lambda x Stoich
I believe Stoich for E85 is somewhere around 9.7:1.

We had to move the sensors from the collectors to 18 in. from the ex. port to get a consistant reading. Dragster on alky carb.
