has a play in the steering column of my '68 Road Runner.

i can push and pull the steering wheel (with the complete steering shaft back to the steering coupler) for around 1/2 inch.

disassembled the steering column and based on this illustration (for a manual column with column shifter) i can't find the support and washer on my column, so i think this may be the problem. i also cant find the clip in the shaft.

i'm not sure if is the same since my column is the power steering one...

this may be the problem?

need to know the part # for my aplication ('68 Road Runner, power steering and column shift) and where to find these parts.

thank you

It`s upper bearing 19-14-4, insulator 19-14-38, plate 19-14-23 and snap ring 19-14-4 that hold the shaft from moving back and forth in the column. Something is missing or loose. I have lots of those columns if you need any parts.
