I've always liked the Motown Missile paint schemes that they used on their Challenger and Barracuda pro-stockers.

I will start another thread entitled 72 Cuda - I will include some photos of it melting into the ground and some action photos.

I think I like the gold/bronze color better than the yellow. The lettering is easier to read on the later design. I'm sure the Jeg's sponsorship had something to do with the yellow paint. The gold leaf on the 72 MM was the best of all of the Missiles. Black and gold just seem to look good together. I seem to remember a Corvette ran by BoLaws that had black and gold paint. I always liked that car even if it was a Cheebie.

Anyone notice the hood scoop switch, the 70 started off with a six-pack scoop, what intake did they use? Then mid-season switched to what looks like a fabricated metal scoop, with a tunnel-ram. This scoop might be the prototype of the early pro-stock style scoop later made of fiberglass & abs plastic. Then the Missile team sold the Challenger.

R&R - original intake was the crossram with the 6pk hood scoop - picture 22 above. Basically started out with a good Super Stock motor.

I love the hood "pins" in picture #20
