Hello,
Just curious ... on a Dana 60 rearend, do you generally use the same gear oil as a typical 8 3/4 posi? (eg. 90-140W) ?

Thanks!

yes go to walmart and get some Super Tech 75/140 full synthetic gear oil for $9.50 per bottle and some ls additive from autozone a 7 oz bottle is $4.50 use about 3 or 4 oz save the rest for your next oil change.

Ok, Thanks a lot!

One more easy one -- For these Dana 60's - same as 8 3/4's and manual trans -- I just need to take out the plug and see if I can touch any fluid with my index finger to see if it's up to full level, correct??

Thanks!!
