I am in need of an alternator mount for my RB that will work with a Meziere electric water pump. The factory bracket will not longer work, since it bolts to the front of the factory pump housing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bridger

Mine comes off the right elephant ear as well . Hey Dragula , how`s that front end holding up ? It looks like a MagForce unit .

Hey Deaks, the factory alternator will NOT work with the low mount Billet alternator bracket that Doty manufactures. Very nice pieces makes it worth switching to a single wire race alternator. There is a 100 amp GM style alternator that works on it with some minor shimming.

I ended up making my own brackets for the alt and water pump with my 500" RB with a Meziere. All the kits out there are for the mini alt's. I needed the BIG alt since I am running fan, H2O pump, fuel pump, trans cooler, etc on mine. It worked out pretty good so far - although I did throw a belt when it hit 8500rpm.....

Let me know and I can send you some pic's.
