"Budget"/"cheap"? You've got a set of $300+ valve covers on it & an oil pan that costs over $400 LOL

Selling my set of those headers was one of my happier moments of hot rodding...
Have fun with the rest of your build though

Are those 2" hooker headers? I make up a new batch of cuss words every time I put mine in. Motor Specs? size?

i hate those headers...you have to remember in what sequence each fricking bolt has to be installed and tighten..

Those must be Hedman's. Mine aren't too bad.

Edit: I forgot they are supposed to be W-5 headers.

I'm just starting on my journey into cheap W-5 engine territory...for a lifelong BB man! I handed a buddy a grand this weekend for a well-used set of heads, fresh from the shop, and set up for a roller, HS rockers, pushrods, dominator intake, and header adapters. When the Valiant engine gets tired, I'll bolt them onto my bushed lifter bore X block with 3.79 steel crank..so all I need is rods, pistons, and a cam!! How expensive can that be??? It's just a small-block right?? I feel like I'm sliding down a slippery slope as I type. Probably be a cheap deal right up until the time I drive down the hill into Indio!!
